Spokane Authors & Self-Publishers

The July meeting of SASP will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Golden Corral restaurant, North 7117 Division St., Spokane, Washington. Doors open at 3 p.m., and the meeting begins at 3:30. This is a change from the normal meeting date and time because of the Fourth of July holiday.

Guest speaker for July will be Elinor Young, a retired missionary.

The polio that should have killed Elinor did disable her, but she grew up to fulfill the seemingly impossible overseas career goal she had since childhood. Forced into retirement by the late effects of polio, post-polio syndrome, Elinor writes and studies writing – among other things. Her memoir is her biggest project.

All are welcome to join us in the Spokane Room at the Golden Corral. SASP is dedicated to helping fellow authors, poets, and others associated with the writing community in Spokane.
