Every fall, the folks at Greenbluff put on a festival, and fellow author M. J. Hudon and I will participate in the festivities Saturday, October 22, 2022. The orchard and wedding venue is located at 8518 E Greenbluff Road in Colbert, Washington. Last year, we set up a table under a canopy and sold our books as we watched the events unfold. We were across the way from the pumpkin donut makers, close to the big barn doors leading into the store, and had a front-row seat for the live music presentations. It was people-watching at its best, and we met and visited with many new friends.
This weekend, the two of us will be there beginning at 8 am. If you see a couple of people surrounded by our books and having lots of fun, you will have found our booth. Living in the Spokane, Washington area has its perks, and this is just one of them.
This is a busy time of the year for me, so I’ll list the upcoming events here as well as on the Events page. For the weekend of October 29th and 30th, author Larry Danek and I will be at University High School, 12420 East 32nd Street, Spokane Valley, Washington.
The following weekend, November 5th and 6th, Larry and I will have a booth at the Central Valley High School craft fair, 821 South Sullivan Road, Spokane Valley, Washington. On the following weekend, November 12th and 13th, M. J. will join Larry and me at Mead High School, 302 West Hastings Road, Spokane.
All three of the high school craft fairs are for the benefit of the respective high school bands, and we love helping them all succeed. It’s also a great way to do some holiday shopping, and we get to talk to people about our books.
If you are in the area, come by and say hello. And if you aren’t, here’s a very friendly hello to you from all of us.
Thanks for the article, Sue! I will post these dates on the Guild website… I could not find the “events” page you referenced in the article. Did I miss something? Lind

Thanks, Linda. I had an event (as you saw) at High Country Orchard and just about froze my toes. 🙂 It was fun, though, and I talked to several people about my books. The events page is on the website, but I’m not sure if I updated it properly. My grandchild in California is helping me redo some of the pages, and I still have a lot of work to do on my end. However, it is good to have the formatting the way I wanted it. Thank you for responding and offering to help get the word out. That’s what I love about our Spokane area writers — we help one another. Take care of yourself and know I think about you often.
